Woken up by the piercing sound of my alarm, I got outta bed before dawn - something I haven't done ever since the holidays begun. I was sleepy as hell and the tour guide that picked us up told us that we could have a good 20 minute nap before arriving at our destination so I did what every other smart human being would do.
With half of my brain still deep in slumber, we got off the van, sat down on a slope and waited for the sun to rise. While waiting, the tour guide gave us each a hot drink and I slurped it down as quickly as the colours of the sky changed. The view was effortlessly breathtaking, need I say much?
Following that, we stopped by a nearby plantation and I swear the neatness of it all satisfied the inner OCD in me LOL.
There were tons of cars at the carpark leading to the entrance of the Mossy Forest but when we made our way in, there was absolutely no one. We walked on a boardwalk for awhile before arriving at the horrendous, raw, muddy floors of the forest. Initially, I was glad, because walking on the boardwalk was boring but when I saw how wet and muddy the forest floor was, I cried (not literally). We ventured a lil into the forest but decided to turn back because my poor beloved boots were getting soaked in mud and we were definitely not in the right attire for that.......
Does this not look dangerous to walk in when it's raining/drizzling?! HAHAHA or maybe it
was just an excuse for me because I wasn't prepared to get dirty at all.
Back on the taxi, we made our way to the famous BOH Tea Plantation. It was a huge area but we didn't bother walking around too much because it was all the same and yes, it was still raining. Thankfully there were concrete walkways and no more muddy paths YAY!

Misconception: we thought that their definition of a cafe was the same as us Singaporeans but it turned out to actually just be a cafeteria.
I had some orchid drink and it was tasty! Sour-sweet, I love it. The strawberry cheesecake is something I suggest you get when you're there as for the Chocolate Fudge cake, let's just say looks can be pretty deceiving.
We headed back to our hotel and because of the jam, it took pretty long and I had a good nap on the car heh. The taxi driver told us that Saturdays and Sundays were a horrible time to be at Cameron because the jams are craaaaaaaaaaazy! We took almost 12 hours to get back to Golden Mile on the following day because of the jam.
Dinner was some piping hot steamboat back at the hotel and the rest of the night was pretty much just us and Disney Channel.
On the final morning spent at Cameron, we woke up fairly early because we wanted to visit Robinson Waterfalls. The internet told us that it would take a pretty short walk to get in but the receptionist told us that it would take an hour so we decided to not risk it :(
Ditching the mundane hotel breakfast, we headed down to Tanah Rata to try the food at AA Curry House. The prata was indeed good but the service was SUPER SUPER SLOW.
After breakfast, we rushed back to the hotel and embarked on the sad tiring journey back home.
