Woke up for breakfast at the hotel and although we didn't manage to grab a seat by the balcony, we managed to get one pretty near and we could honestly feel the cool breeze even from there! The food was pretty decent but nothing too fantastic.
It started getting cloudy so we decided to stay indoors for a bit and read (yay)!
When the skies started clearing a lil we headed down to Brinchang for a late lunch and settled at gaoyuanhuoguo and had some tzechar which didn't look half as good as it tasted. We were honestly pretty disappointed when the food landed on our table but after it entered our mouths, damn were we in ecstasy!

We headed to the Butterfly & Insect Farm after lunch and it is a must go! I had so much fun chasing after butterflies and tryna snap pretty shots of it. There were also squirrels, birds, snakes, beetles and loads more. Two hours flew by in the blink of an eye before we headed down to the Bee Farm.

Bee Farm
We were pretty bumped up by what we saw at the Bee Farm but i'm not sure if it was because it rained plus we were there at about 6pm and the bee maze was closed by then :(
After it got dark, we made our way to Brinchang night market to have our fill of street food!
Not being biased or anything but I feel that Singapore's street food tastes way better than this? The satay was super tough and the kuay teow goreng was oddly sweet. Considering how the Brinchang market is considered one of the few must-gos, I was awfully disappointed.
BBBUUUUTTTTTT I was super happy because I bought 3 mini cactuses for RM5! We also bought melted chocolate to dip the strawberries we picked from the farm the day before.
Back at the hotel, we feasted on our chocolate-dipped strawberries before having an early night to prep ourselves for the Sunrise Tour!
Aren't they cuuuute ♥ |
