Bali

I AM BACK TO ANNOUNCE......
MY TRIP TO BALI! *cheers*

It hasn't really been that long since I last got back from Japan but I am so excited for Bali not only because I can finally set foot on another country but also because this is the first time I've actually planned a trip all by myself! My previous trips were mostly either planned together or by my family/friends or - like my most recent trip to Thailand - without a plan.

After nights of researching and scanning through every single article about Bali on tripcanvas (is this normal?), I can proudly say that I've never been this familiar with a foreign city as I am of Bali.

Into the more technical stuff, I will be jetting off to Bali for 9D8N. Some would say "that's so long!" but I'd say "IT'S TOO DAMN SHORT!". Mind you, my to-go list was 2 pages long BUT with a little patience and a whole lota "nooooo"s, I managed to narrow it down to fit my 9-day trip.

During my time in Bali I'll be spending 3 days in Ubud, Kuta and Nusa Dua each. I initially wanted to make it 4 in Ubud and 5 in Kuta but because of the last minute addition of my parents that will only be in Bali for 6 days, I decided to spend the first 6 days residing in the same hotel as them. The final 3 days in Nusa Dua will be spent exploring Ungasan and Nusa Dua, visiting places like Pandawa Beach and (obviously) Nusa Dua Beach.

Before deciding on Nusa Dua I was batting between Nusa Dua and Nusa Lembongan because NL is such a beautiful place! However, I ultimately settled for Nusa Dua because 3 days to explore Kuta feels too short. When I visit Lombok, another beautiful country in Indonesia not too far off from Bali, in the near future, I'll be sure to leave a few days for NL.

Accommodation wise, we're not the kind to really splurge so we settled for pretty basic stuff. Here are the links to the hotels if you're interested!

Ubud: The Evitel Resort Ubud (~$56/night)
Kuta: The Bene Hotel - Kuta (~$57/night)
Nusa Dua: The Grand Bali Nusa Dua (~$67/night)
