Krabi // Day 3 - Island Hopping

Woke up really early today to embark on our trip to Hong Island!
We assembled outside the shop and, after what felt like almost an hour, boarded the vehicle (i have no clue what it's called it looks like a gigantic tuktuk) towards the pier. The pier was almost akin to a huge plot of sand which is, to me, really pretty!
Before going to Hong Island, we stopped by two small islands of which names I do not know hahaha oops. There was really nothing much on the island so we decided to entertain ourselves by trying to catch fishes with out bare hands. We all looked like a crazy bunch of idiots!! But it was fun~
When we finally arrived at Hong Island, we were served lunch and were given 3 hours of free time to snorkel, kayak and do whatever we wanted to on the island. We technically didn't do much apart from just swimming around and self-entertaining before heading back to Ao Nang.

Honestly, the island hopping experience was disappointing. Firstly, expected the water and scenery to look better than it was at Ao Nang because Ao Nang was a huge disappointment but the islands were as bad! :< Secondly, we expected toe snorkeling to be done like how it was when we were in Phuket and Boracay, in the middle of the sea. It turned out to be just plainly from the shore of Hong Island. Thirdly, the water was so cloudy I could barely even see the fishes unless it was right in front of my face!! And lastly, the lunch was PATHETIC. I'm not even kidding. I was barely even half full from the rice they provided us with.

Back at our resort, we decided to take a dip in the pool to cool ourselves down because we had quite a bit of time before heading out for dinner.
At around 5pm, the boys decided to bring us to the Indian Restaurant they chanced upon on the first day and it was really good! We ordered butter, garlic, onion, sweet potato and cheese naan, accompanied with Masala Chicken, Butter Chicken and some seafood dish. We went to walk around slowly, and towards the street stalls we saw on our way back from the pier. The shops here were almost exactly the same as those at Phuket. When we finally arrived at the street stalls, we got their nutella banana pancake and mango sticky rice. IT FINALLY FELT LIKE I WAS IN THAILAND. BOTH WERE SO GOOD

After wallowing down the taste of Thailand, we headed back towards where we had our massage yesterday, but this time, with the boys. We decided to try the neighbouring massage parlour called Smile Massage. Everyone did feet massage except for Sean, who did dry Thai Massage, and my mum and I who did Aloe Vera Massage! Thanks to my mum's sky high bargaining skills, we managed to cut the price of the Aloe Vera Massage to 200, from 400! It was good :) better than yesterday's! Most of the boys were doing massage for the first time so it was quite a hilarious experience. Reuben was even playing Thai music to perk up to ambiance LOL.
E-san Seafood is one of the more popular food places here in Ao Nang so we decided to drop by for supper after our massage. We ordered grilled squid, Tom Yam soup, clams, and basil chicken. Everything was yummy! A super satisfied last meal here in Krabi.

Thanks for reading!
