Day 7 || Helmet Diving!

Nemo nemo nemo nemo~
Yesterday was actually quite a chill day as well. I guess the trip is coming to an end and we've nothing much left to do! Anyways, we went helmet diving yesterday and I was fun! First, we went down to Station 2 to meet the boatman that would take us to the platform to get ready.
When we got to the platform, we hung around for awhile and chatted with the locals on the platform. They were super interested in our waterproof camera casing because the divers were also given one to help us take complimentary photos and videos and they were comparing their's to our's, haha! Soon after, it was our turn to go in and it was interesting how we actually went into the water! First, we would go down the ladder, half our body submerged, before they put the sssuuuuuuuuuper heavy helmet (arnd 35kg if i'm not wrong) that will make us sink, over our heads. We would just hold onto the helmet and let it slowly push us onto the seabed.
Back on the platform, we were each given a small piece of bread to feed the fishes so that's exactly what we started off doing after all 4 of us were fully submerged. In fact, apart from taking photos, that was mainly what we were doing the entire time! It was really fun but the pressure of the helmet on my shoulder bone was so painful :< that might explain my grumpy faces in the photos, if you ever catch any!
