Day 2 || explore!

Woke up pretty early yesterday. I suppose the zaoshuizaoqi thingy is gonna happen quite an awful lot this trip hahaha.
Hung around for awhile in the room before heading down to d*mall for our breakfast! Little did we know, our walk to d*mall took TWO HOURS. Could you believe it? We walk in the scorching hot sun, on the beach, without shades, with my hair down, for two whole hours LOL. Felt like I was about to die. But then again, we saw many things during that 2 hour walk. We saw the Mother Mary statue that was placed at in the sea-ish? Hahaha. And some stone carving of the 10 commandments. I took a truckload of photos during the 2 hour walk but i'm gonna spare all of you buy just uploading a few.

Can you feel the heat from this photo I THINK I CAN gosh it's so glaring!

And this is the Mother Mary statue from afar because lazy ass me was too lazy to walk out in the heat. The photo was initially even farther away but I shan't be mean, haha!

Ate breakfast-cum-lunch at a café called Lemon i Café and i can safely say that the food was well worth the walk. We ate all-day breakfast and my mum had herself a bowl of salad. The food was quite good with a generous serving! The pricing(compared to all-day breakfast back in Singapore) was really quite worth the price. After our meal, we walked around the place and took a tuktuk back to the resort at about 12+, 1 because we were all dead tired from walking x_x

Damn, that egg.

Back at the resort, we relaxed for a bit before getting changed into out swim wear and going for a swim in the resort "pool". Tried taking underwater selfies with Sean but we failed so many times HAHA his were surprisingly way better than mine!! We snorkeled a little and I SAW NEMO but there were quite little fishes :(

When the resort owner saw us sitting here from the water, he jokingly asked us to jump in and when Sean pretended to, he was so shocked HAHAHA. Such a funny guy

Yep, our "pool" was the sea. See that ladder at the side? It's leading to the lounge.
And this photo was taken from our room :)

View of the resort from the water.

Although it was really shallow, there were corals and we managed to spot a few fishes!

Went back up at around 4.30pm and chilled at the lounge for a short while. Ordered the chocolate banana shake(again), and some snacks. They were out of calamari rings FOR.THE.SECOND.TIME >:( but the ambiance was really great to just sit and chill.
Went back up, showered, and sat down to read my book. Had our dinner @ Mama's Fish just a short walk from the resort. The food was good and rather cheap! It was about $60sgd for 4 mains + a plate of calamari rings. Their blue marlin and mahimahi(if i remember the name correctly? haha) was really tasty.

That weird yellow sauce beside the lemon was goooooooooood.

Pardon the lighting they barely had any light out there so we used a camera torch LOL
After dinner, we went to the resort lounge to get a drink and play a few rounds of pool(yes, they have a pool table!!!) before heading up to zzzz.

Goodnight y'all ^-^
