Pretty sure I have never mentioned it before here about how I am a student blogger for WorldSkills Singapore 2014 so here goes!
WSS is a competition akin to the Olympics. The only difference is that for WorldSkills, instead of competing to be the best athlete, the competitors here are competing to be the best at the skill they are doing, be it engineering, cooking, web designing or even restaurant servicing!
WorldSkills Singapore is basically a local competition set up to sieve out the best in our country to represent Singapore in the upcoming International WorldSkills competition.
It is also serves to help promote skills and make it known that in life, grades aren't the only thing that matters!
That aside, I just checked into ITE CCK's hotel not too long ago and it feels like i'm in a legitimate hotel room *thumbs up*
The competition will last for three days, up until Saturday, but we are allowed the check out on Sunday morning which is a huuuge relief. Anyway tomorrow will be the official start of the competition and I can't wait to meet the competitors!
