Life.

Haven't blogged in awhile, i know. But the past few weeks have been really great! Been busying myself with school and people i'm so glad my life is getting back on track.

Met a couple of friends I haven't met since I had a boyfriend and i am sooo glad it seemed like nothing has changed :') i'm starting to really enjoy my singlehood like how I used to. Reliving the days where I enjoy walking around malls alone, travelling alone (it's great because getting a single seat is so much easier), texting whoever I want, whenever I want and, of course, not having to be accountable to anyone!
I honestly never liked people worrying for me and although it feels nice to know that someone is worried for me, the idea of not having to assure anyone else but myself is really great.

Anyways, my weekend was quite a great one! I went to Haji Lane on Saturday evening and well I must say it was an experience. We met at around 4pm and headed down to Haji Lane. After walking around for a bit, we headed down to Artistry which was, sadly, about to close. So we headed to Symmetry which was PACKED. In addition to that, the food was kinda costly so we opted out. We resumed our walk and started searching for other cafes we could eat at considering how I saw many from cafehopping.sg! We decided to settle at Working Title and just when we were so excited to order, we were told the cooker blew up just 2 minutes before we wanted to order @#$%^!&*(% disappointed, we headed to a random restaurant nearby by the name of Oliva. The food wasn't too costly and it tasted quite good! We then headed to La Marelle for desserts :} La Marelle is a really pretty place and I hope to be able to write a full blogpost on it soon!!

Sunday, Mother's Day, was another day well spent. I finally got my iPhone 5S (yay!) and finally visited Chye Seng Huat Hardware! A little vague on the details, I went for lunch with my family and my grandma @ Vivo City before heading down to Tanjong Pagar to get my phone. After the phone, we decided to stop by Cake Spade, a nearby cake shop to get some desserts. It was, however, closed on Sundays :( so we ventured a lil more into Duxton but couldn't find much so we headed to Chye Seng Huat!
I got the hot chocolate which tasted really quite normal. It was, however, not the sweet kind of hot chocolate. We also got their carrot cake, lime coconut cake and some dates butterscotch cake! Really loved it all, especially the dates butterscotch cake which didn't taste as overwhelming as it looks! I'll definitely go back there for a second round. We also ordered a tomato bacon quiche which took really long to arrive and when it did, it was still cold on the inside >:( so we told the waitress and yay we got a free carrot cake LOL.
After CSHH, we headed down to Swee Choon for some dimsum but due to the crowd, we bailed.

Thanks for reading!
This post is extra vague and I apologize for that hehe. Was honestly not intending on blogging on all these but ohwells~
