Habitat Coffee.

Good evening!!
I decided to blog about my trip earlier today to Habitat Coffee since I have some time before leaving for a baby shower :)

We headed down at about 1pm and got there past lunchtime, at 2pm. When we entered, we were welcomed by a handsome, buff guy that brought us to our seat HAHAHAHA the cafe was still fairly crowded so I was really glad we didn't have to wait to be seated.

Before ordering, I scanned through a few online reviews on what was good there and settled for the Eggs Benedict which, just like what most of the reviews said, did not disappoint. I loved how they had a slice of ham under the eggs because the saltiness did well in enhancing the taste of the dish. Sean got The Big Ben, my mum got the Eggs Tomato Relish and my dad got The Shrooms (Vegetarian).
The Big Ben turned out to be not so big and, in fact, quite a disappointment. Although the sausage was tasty, considering how it had cheese in it, the hash browns were really oily and I could taste it oil :(
As for my mum's Eggs Tomato Relish, it tasted really normal and some parts were charred resulting in some bitterness here and there.
The Shrooms were also fairly alright. Not something someone would go wow over.
We also ordered some Truffle Fries and had Churros for dessert!
Am personally not a fan of the taste of truffle oil so I'd skip it but the Churros were good! It was coated in cinnamon powder, served with melted chocolate dip.
For drinks, we each ordered a cup of coffee. I got a Hazelnut and I kinda really liked it!

And my Eggs Benedict!

Really love this photo HAHAHA

And last but not least, a family selfie!

All in all, despite the negative comments that i've written about some of the dishes, I would come back again because almost every dish here is below $15! The ambiance is also fairly nice and most definitely a good place to chill out with friends.

Thanks for reading! I think i'm gonna be late oops :x
